How we tell our stories.
Braj is more than a list of places to visit. Its temples, towns, festivals and everyday life deserve attention, context and care. Our aim is to help readers understand the region through clear, useful stories that respect both the place and the people who call it home.
Written by Team Vrindavan
Every blog is published under the shared byline Team Vrindavan. This is our publication’s editorial identity. It does not imply that every article comes from an on-site visit or a specialist interview. Our opening collection consists of researched introductions, rather than firsthand travel reports.
Sources before certainty
We use official district and tourism resources for background information and retain supporting research records. Where useful, source links appear alongside the relevant passage. For details that change, such as temple access or festival arrangements, our standard is to look for information from the relevant temple, organiser or public authority.
A source supports the particular claim it addresses; it is not a guarantee that every detail remains current. When something cannot be confirmed, we aim to make that uncertainty clear rather than fill the gap with an assumption.
Respecting faith and tradition
We distinguish devotional belief, local tradition, historical evidence and present-day practical information. A sacred story can be meaningful without being presented as an independently established historical event. Where accounts differ, we aim to acknowledge the difference and use language that respects the communities involved.
Practical information and updates
Our articles are not live timetables. Opening hours, entry rules, transport services and event arrangements can change. Check the current details directly before travelling, especially when a particular ceremony or festival is central to your plans.
A background source-check date records when the referenced material was reviewed. It does not mean that every practical detail has been checked again today. We avoid presenting unverified prices, dates or precise itineraries as settled facts.
How we use AI
AI has assisted with the opening articles and the site’s design and imagery. We treat it as an aid to creating the publication, not as an independent source of facts. Factual claims still need supporting evidence, and generated material must not be presented as firsthand experience.
Images and illustrations
Blog covers use AI-created artistic interpretation to match the publication’s visual style. Buildings, landscapes and scenes may be imagined or adapted. These illustrations convey a mood; they must not be used to identify an actual temple, landmark or walking route. Article captions and the site footer disclose this use of artistic imagery. Photographs inside articles are credited individually where used.
Corrections and clarity
When we identify a factual error, our approach is to check the supporting source and correct the affected passage. A substantial correction should explain what changed; a routine spelling or formatting edit does not need the same treatment. Where a point remains unresolved, we aim to state the limitation clearly.
Editorial independence
Vrindavan is an independent publication, not an official tourism body, temple authority or tour operator. The current site contains no affiliate links or paid placements. If we introduce sponsored content or commercial links in future, they should be clearly labelled so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial coverage.
